I’m catching up on all my food reviews and I think this sandwich is the Cubano. Here’s the description from the restaurant:
“Slow-roasted warm citrus and garlic seitan, mayo, mustard, cabbage, tomato, pickle, onion on a toasted torpedo roll.”
Their seitan is absolutely amazing. I ate half the sandwich for dinner and saved the other half for lunch the next day on a hike. It held up well and was just as delicious. I suggest visiting Chef Tanya’s restaurant in Palm Desert. It has takeout items and a retail store. Very inviting and enjoyable. #vegansandwich #seitan #lettuce
