Review of Not Chicken Patties - NotCo by beckyyy

This is the first product I’ve tried from NotCo. I’ve heard that their milk is quite good, but as someone who never enjoyed dairy milk, a realistic milk doesn’t appeal to me. Since there’s been such good fanfare I was excited to try these patties.

The patties are flat, circular and quite thin, like the Impossible version - and not at all like the photo on the bag. I baked them in the oven. They released quite a bit of grease and even though I cooked them longer than instructed and broiled them at the end, they remained a softer texture than expected. The flavor was pretty neutral. Not bad, but definitely needs some seasoning and/or sauce. These are fine and I would definitely eat them if they were the only option but I feel there are more satisfying options on the market.
