I did not enjoy this, but I’ll put that down to personal preference. I suppose their aim was to have a vegan-friendly version of a chicken pie. If you’re after that meat-and-gravy taste then you could consider this i suppose. It just isn’t for me.
It’s annoying that this company shares a name with the people behind Pukka teas, but they aren’t the same. Pukka herbs focus on organic teas, fair trade, equity of producers, and sustainability, while pukka pies primarily sell meat pies, and happened to have extended their range to include a few plant-based options. I hastily grabbed this and only realised much later that it was a meat company I was supporting. That’s on me, will be more mindful in the future.
