I bought these at No Frills because they were marked down 30%. And I’m glad they were! They’re very delicious, but a bit on the dry side. It’s nothing a sauce or some type of liquid can’t resolve.
The appearance of these bites reminds me of Yves Veggie Cuisine’s maple breakfast sausages, but without the maple syrup’s stickiness and taste/flavour. You can easily see bits of the individual ingredients. To me, that’s appealing. The bites are made from real food.
They fry up easily in a pan on the stove. I ate them with a little plum sauce on top and also incorporated into a salad.
I will get these again.
