Review of Hazelnut Kürtősh at Kürtősh - Surry Hills by stever3141

A kürtőskalács, also known as a chimney cake, is a traditional Hungarian pastry that is freshly baked and coated in various toppings, and in this case crushed hazelnuts. This pastry is known for its delicious combination of a crispy, caramelized outer layer and soft inner walls. However, the pastry I tried was not quite up to par. While the outer layer was satisfyingly crispy, the inner pastry was disappointingly dry and seemed to have been over-cooked.
