More almond flavor comes through than cardamom or rose. Got this in a gift set, and this was the first one I tried. Now that I've been using it at my home office desk for a few months, I'm willing to review it. It leaves a thin, oily layer rather than a thick waxy balm like other brands. I like how lightweight it is, especially when lightly layered (and blotted) under more drying lipstick formulas. Most of the time, though, I'm using it on its own throughout the day by keeping it on my home office desk where I can see and reach for it easily. I liked it as a gift but probably wouldn't buy it for myself, given the set of three was around $20 on Amazon (making each lip balm nearly $7). Maybe the other flavors I'll feel more strongly about, but for now this one may as well just be almond-scented oil in a more convenient format.
