This is a vanilla based yogurt with flavorful and crunchy slivers of coconut and almonds, as well as small chocolate squares for the topping. I found it slightly runny, but still okay for a regular yogurt. I like how they used unsweetened chocolate pieces instead of sweetened ones, as the yogurt is already sweetened and this creates a nice flavor texture.
Like the other yogurts in this line, the topping in contained in a separate compartment, which easily folds over to dump its contents neatly onto the yogurt. It’s packaging is recyclable and this also creates an opportunity for less packaging.
Nutritionally, one (150g) container provides 210 calories from 12g of fat (7g saturated from coconut and almonds), 25g of carbohydrates and 3g of protein. There is also vitamin D, calcium, iron and B12 included as well.
I purchased this in April of this year from either Walmart ($1.58) or ShopRite ($1.99), and have recently repurchased it again. ShopRite’s prices had jumped significantly to around $3.50, but I just checked on their app and, thankfully, their prices are back down to $1.99. Walmart’s prices hadn’t changed whenever I purchased from them during this time. They also changed their packaging from the one in the first photo to the one in the second.
