My photos don’t do justice how fluffy this #uthapam really was 😅 I was hungry and I was groggy, give me a break! An uthapam is a slighty thicker #pancake or #dosa and usually accompanied with quite a bit more toppings; Onions in this case. I’m not big on alliums, #onion especially, so while this objectively was a great dish it wasn’t my favourite. At S$7, you get a single but super filling uthapam with a serving of #curry and #chutney, not too shabby! You will have to #asktoveganize this because the “regular” version uses ghee 🧈 The service here was.. abysmal 🤦‍♀️ with them messing up the #veganized versions with the non-vegan versions that our omnivore comrades were having. Apparently though, the texture differs when fried testament to the different char at the bottom. Is the oil version as authentic or tasteful is anyone’s guess, but it’s a price I’m willing to pay to #ditchdairy and end the cycle of violence against our nonhuman friends 🐄
