This is a Vitamin C product which is an antioxidant and is advertised as a brightening agent, good for reducing dark spots and evening out the skin tone. I haven’t been paying close attention to my skin’s evenness since I’ve not had any issues with it, I use it because dermatologists have said that using an antioxidant in your skin care routine is vital to protect your skin’s health. Like for The Ordinary’s other products, I don’t use a whole lot, so it lasts ages.
