Yum! This lotus paste biscuit made a nice little (not that little though) afternoon treat! I didn’t know which filling to pick so I followed the auntie’s recommendation and I’m glad I did.
The outside dough is flaky and quite bland while the inside is a nice lotus paste which I found to be flagrant and perfectly sweetened (it is quite sweet but this is what you expect when you buy one of these). Additionally, there are a few peanuts inside which really take the biscuit to another level in my opinion!
Could do without the pink colouring though! The less artificial, the better!
$1.80 per piece, so I find it to be a nice and affordable option for a sweet treat 😊
