
It’s very creamy and the shells are tender. By itself, it’s so so for me. Sometimes I feel like I can taste nutmeg more than I want to. Other times I don’t notice it. The flavor is mild but if you doctor it up a little, it elevates this mac n cheese substantially. Here I topped with charred organic baby broccoli and served with an arugula salad. Adding the greens for nutrition but also as contrast and balance to the richness of the mac. It’s nice for a night when time is limited for cooking.

I had this when I was visiting a friend in San Francisco. I wish we had a Trader Joe’s here!!
