
By itself, this paneer doesn't have a lot of taste but it is cheesy in its own way. I'd definitely prefer it saltier. This is my very first time cooking an Indian dish from scratch - palak paneer - and I'm so proud of how it turned out! I was put off from cooking Indian food myself due to the amount of spices which I do not have, but I managed this with garam masala at home. While not very flavourful the cheese goes really well in this dish that I've hardly got to eat since going vegan, and I love palak which is healthy and delicious. I divided the 200g pack into 2 meals and there was a generous amount of cheese for each. It looks and tastes a little bit like tofu but it isn't. My mum said that the cheese tastes much healthier than regular cheese with all the salt. Ate the palak paneer with store bought naan.
