What I can say is that it wasn't a meal, it was an experience. Not in a good way though. In the menu it was described as a chickpea pancake with mushrooms, avocado paste and spices. But when the dish arrived there was a surprise ingredient: arugula. I'm not a fan and was very surprised indeed. I think such a controversial ingredient should be described on the menu. Anyway, there was molasses as decoration on the plate and when it was mixed with the pancake it balanced the bitterness. Sadly there wasn't enough of it. The overall experience was okay, I would not have chosen it myself but eventually appreciated the combination. #veganisnotscary #matinhos
