100th review and one of my absolutely favourite, accidentally vegan sweets.
It's a specialty from the Isle of Elba.
I love the way it looks, you wouldn't think it's something edible but it is and it's absolutely beautiful in my opinion.
If I don't find any affordable vegan cakes for my next birthday I'll just get this one again 😂
There's raisin and pine nuts in it and the red colour comes from a liquor (that evaporated in the baking process).
It looks interesting, doesn't it?
