First, the positives:
1. The setting. Words cannot describe how beautiful this place is. Think huge leafy trees, a lavender garden, beautiful sculptures everywhere, mountain views... It is sublime 😍😍😍
2. They were happy to accommodate me when I called to check if they could manage a vegan lunch option for me.
3. Refer back to point (1) 😍😍😍
As for room for improvement:
1. Unfortunately the service was incredibly slow and somewhat lackadaisical.
2. My salad was tasty and pretty to look at, and I appreciate that the chef came out to speak to me (I had called ahead) but unfortunately it was not remotely filling and nothing I couldn’t have made myself. Next time, I would probably order a bowl of potato wedges to accompany it.
Definitely a STUNNING venue!
