This jar strawberry preserves is super delicious, another #aldi product that is affordable and great.
Because I had a stressful day I decided to cook/bake something. I found this #cookies in the #recipes from @abillion10. I modified a bit the recipe but the results (even if do not look so pretty 😂 they are delicious 🙌🏽)
🤓 just a quick #nerdyfact Pectin is a pretty nice ingredient obtained mainly from citrus fruits.
Pectin is used as gelling agent as in the case of #preservers and #jams
In plants the pectin serves as a binding agent [to put the cells together], conferring resistance to their tissues. When fruits and veggies are in the ripening process the pectin starts to break apart so the consistency changes.
So eat your fruits and veggies as fresh as possible 😛
