Another day and another veganuary review , this time of the Vegetarian Bytz mock meat from Good Dot. This one is suited for curry or gravy based style, and tastes best when you have it with rice, roti, naan or any flat bread.
Used a the basic online recipe of cooking an Indian meat curry, and topped it off with some lime and coriander. And gobbled it up in the next 20 with some brown rice.
You get a hint of the soya flavour, and if you get your marination and gravy right your meat eating friends will love it. I had a few friends over for lunch and they were surprised of how close the texture of the mock meat is to that of real meat.
