Review of Classic Khao Soi at Free Bird Cafe by kaylabear
This is one of my favourite Thai dishes and I really liked the version here because it’s topped with fried purple sweet potatoes in lieu of the crunchy noodles that usually go on top! Very creative. It’s made with coconut mylk curry, potatoes, carrots, chickpeas, chunks of chickpea tofu, shallots, spicy fermented greens, and lime. You can choose between yellow lentil noodles or gluten-free rice noodles. It’s a bit on the oily side but the flavours are fantastic! I would definitely order this again.
