I heard great things about this burger 🍔 and finally got down to trying it. It was very delicious and meaty and had vegan cheese. Do specify that you want the vegan version for your order. The patty was a bit dry but that was ok with some sauce, and there were double patties which made it extra satisfying. It was very oily though with oil dripping out of the burger. $18. They also had chilli sauce and a vegan white sauce for dipping but that was quite oily too. I like that they have a lot of vegan options but they could definitely improve a lot on service. The place was supposed to open at 1, I came at 1+ but it wasn't open properly and I had to go in and call repeatedly at the counter for the cashier to come out. I specified I wanted the vegan burger (luckily he asked!) But when the burger came he realised they accidentally put normal cheese in it and recalled the dish and I waited some time while they made a new one. I'm pretty glad he realised before I ate it though. The Indian music was very loud and I asked for it to be turned down. Also I was concerned that when the cashier first came out from behind the counter he wasn't wearing a mask I asked him to put it on, later he sat at the tables outside and didn't cover his nose with the mask. I really want to support this place and it has good food, but I really think the staff need to do better. #veganin2020

The patty is tender and juicy. The bun is soft and lightly crusted on top. Served with generous amount of cajun fries and salad. All these for SGD$17, probably one of the most affordable Impossible burger in town.

The fish is nicely fried, the fries are satisfying. This meal definitely reminded me of the fish and chips I had before I went vegan.

We ordered masala fries with truffle dip but there was a mix up and we got this. Pretty big portion, ideal for sharing. The fries had a nice cashew crumble on top and a delicious truffle dip! @veganspicegirl #vegbuddies #veganisnotscary 🎃

Strawberry nasi lemak sounds very unique and I ordered it in advance as it's not a permanent menu item. But I was quite disappointed honestly. The chilli which is supposed to have the strawberry flavour was very spicy for me even though I asked for less spicy, it was bitter and not very yummy, though it went well with the rice. It was nice basmati rice but the rice was not lemak enough. The mock ikan bilis was very nice and crispy and went well with the peanuts. The mock fish was very nice and tasted quite healthy. I think this is healthier than nasi lemak you'll get at a hawker centre but for $9.50 quite disappointing. Also no veggies other than cucumber. I found their western dishes more worth it so far. Still I will definitely come back as they have some fantastic dishes and a fantastic boss. @veganspicegirl #vegbuddies #veganisnotscary 🎃

Not sure why it's called strawberry nasi lemak. Many of these specials are not on the menu. The chili sambal is good and spicy and the mock ikan bilis really crispy

So we ordered masala fries as it was $3 and got truffle fries which was thrice the price instead. It's got vegan cheesy bits on it but can't get over the fact it ain't what we ordered

OMG THIS WAS #VEGANHEAVEN 🤤 Shared it with @quekliuting and it was her first time trying Impossible and she was so shocked by how well it resembled meat! Cost $14. This was absolutely delicious man! The mixture of the sauce with the meatballs and the mince in the sauce was so good! Only complaint was that the balls were on the dry side. #bestpicks After the meal we got to chat with the boss, Nesh. It is always so nice to talk to business owners so we know more about their stories and what goes behind the scenes. Nesh is very friendly and passionate and he is very eager to come up with creative dishes that cater to different guests like vegans and those who do not take alliums. I was shocked when I found out that in the F&B industry it is actually quite common for staff to be dishonest and add things into food that are actually not allowed for guests with special diets. I really appreciate that Nesh makes sure that all his staff are honest and the chefs are familiar with what vegan means, something that many in F&B are actually not clear on. He is happy to help vegan customers and we can also suggest in advance if we have any ideas for dishes as they are experimenting as well. Next time I will try to ask him in advance if they can make vegan ice cream from almond milk, they would need some time in advance to prepare. This dish was not bad, normal price is $10 but we got it at a discount for $9. Shared it with @quekliuting. I wish the rice was sticky like risotto I had in Europe, but I found out that they didn't make it sticky as sticky rice uses tapioca which is not so healthy. Well, taste wise it was ok, probably won't get it again as they have much nicer dishes like their fish and chips, Impossible pasta and pizza.
