Such a simple but colorful rice dish! The peppers, corn and hedgehog mushroom worked well with the sauce, and you can change to 5 grain rice for extra health.

HK reinstated a curfew due to COVID so we've had to order takeaway :/ This is soy milk soup with veggies and beancurd skin, paired with rice. Quite a light and simple but satisfying meal.

Such a nice hot drink especially for cold weather! The soy milk is flavorful and the ginger adds some spiciness and soothes the throat as it goes down. You can get soymilk for free if you get the meal set, and for this you just need to make up the price difference ($5 HKD). #veganisnotscary

This dish was flavorful and the portions for the toppings was generous. The "spare ribs" don't feel at all like meat texture-wise but I really enjoyed them nonetheless - they're soft and chewy. I added $8 HKD to change to 3-grain rice hence the dark colored base. #veganisnotscary

The drink was originally lemon barley water but they were out of lemon juice so they asked if we wanted just plain barley water😂 Which is fine, it makes for a light and healthy drink. #veganisnotscary

You can choose between tomato, black pepper and teriyaki sauce to go with this generous portion of hedgehog mushroom! The mushrooms are well cooked and absorb a lot of flavor, so they make great accompaniments to the rice. #veganisnotscary

This is a simple bowl of noodles, with 5 different vegetable toppings and the option of soba noodles or udon. It's a nice, light option if you don't want a lot of mock meats. #veganisnotscary

Wanted to eat an authentic chinese b'fast and I went with these rice rolls. Love the colors of the flavor from soy sauce, pb, and olive oil as well as the added crunch from the sesame. Quite affordable especially when you get it in a set with a cup of soy milk, recommended! #jaan

Normally 15-min to prepare the steamed buns, but was around 10 min. Soup was mostly celery, carrot, cabbage, and a little tomato. Not salty. Both tasted good. Cosy vegetarian Chinese cha-chaan-teng (teahouse) restaurant. Also ordered Red, Brown and Black Glutinous Rice Ball, which has some vegetarian sweet pork floss and crispy tofu inside. Great value. Altogether cost just over $70. Friendly staff. Manager speaks English.

They make their own soy milk here so I always order a glass if I’m around. This is my first time getting the sesame flavour and I really enjoyed it. The drink wasn’t too sweet or “gritty” as I thought it would be. Really refreshing!
