This is a great late-night slice bursting with flavor! And I love the corn meal coated crust. The slices here are sturdy enough to walk with, but there was also plenty of space in big comfortable booths to rest our feet. This pizza is topped with artichokes, red onions, wild mushrooms, Daiya cheese, and drizzles of pepper pesto and basil pesto. Some of my favorite things about New York are all the bagel shops in the morning, and the pizza slices late at night. I'm so glad many of them have vegan options! I really loved that Two Boots had three vegan slice options. This one has vegan sausage, roasted peppers, red onion, and Daiya cheese. It was a nice meaty option, but imo it wasn't as special and didn't hold up to the great flavor of the V for Vegan. The crust here is super good though. There's something about the cornmeal that I really love. I thought it tasted like real meat except for the vegan pepperoni, loved the chicken and cheese crumbles. The crust was traditional NY style which is what I was going for. However I felt it was lacking something, it definitely needed more sauce and much more cheese. Omni aunt and mother said they loved the pizza and could definitely choose this over real pizza, however my picky brother who only eats chicken nuggets fries and pizza said it was good for a vegan pizza but didn't taste like real meat and would choose normal pizza over this. Take out from this what you will. I did enjoy my first couple of bites but afterwards felt something was missing. Would I recommend this place, for sure, but I think there are better places in NYC for vegan pizza. I just need to go to them to see
