“Corn tortilla chips, zucchini, mushrooms, avocado, and tofu eggs sautéed in a salsa Roja topped with homemade sour cream & Daiya cheese. Gluten-free. Served all day.” ++ I added their vegan asada… which isn’t listed on the menu online, but they had a blackboard out with taco options and I noticed the asada, so I asked for it and the guy at the register was like- nice, good idea. The add-on raised the price from $18 to $22. Either way, it was a bit pricey for chilaquiles—but if you’re vegan and have a craving for breakfast nachos, it can be hard to find a place that offers them. These were everything I hoped they would be. The zucchini, other veggies veggies, asada, and sauces, were all so so flavorful. Im not normally a fan of daiya cheese but they used just the right amount and I found myself liking everything so I much I’m now reconsidering daiya as a brand and may give them another shot. I would recommend this place for a nice sit down meal or takeout :) especially considering the customer service and hospitality is top notch. I ordered these to-go, and they were still delicious 35 minutes after leaving the restaurant. #chilaquiles #tofulover #glutenfree #breakfast

If you're not sure what to have at the Grain Cafe, you can never go wrong with the wet burrito. You get a choice of red or green sauce; as you can see in this picture, I asked for both. You also get a choice of protein, either marinated tempeh, vegan chicken, or vegan burger meat. The rest of the burrito consists of black beans, brown rice, guacamole, Daiya vegan cheese, red bell peppers, caramelized onions, and lettuce. With a little vegan cheese melted on top of the sauce too. This dish is totally filling and a great value for the price, about 13 bucks. It's one of my favorites that I eat again and again. I highly recommend it! #burrito #mexicanfood

The Grain Cafe is one of my favorite vegan restaurants. Their menu is huge and this is a good example of the many diverse dishes they offer. You get a few different choices for your vegan meat for the torta. Pictured here is the vegan chorizo. It was absolutely delicious! I'm not always a fan of chorizo because sometimes it's too rich and greasy, but this is *not* the case at the Grain Cafe. Their chorizo is excellent. It wasn't overpoweringly rich or fatty and had just the right amount of spice. The avocado and all the rest of the produce was very fresh as well as the bread, which was soft and tasty. This restaurant has high standards and it always shows. I highly recommend them.
