Once you pop, you can't stop... Yummy! Perfect little roast potatoes. They so good I stopped adding salt as I went along. They R50 a bowl or you could add them as part of a meal combo.

This was huge... but the whole thing was cold. I'd have liked the generous amount of falafels & the laffa heated. The flavours are absolutely divine that comes off a standard list as indicated. So anyway... I deconstructed it at home so I could heat the falafels, reassembled and toasted the laffa in a pan. Definitely made the meal more enjoyable. The last photo is a complimentary snack we got served before our meal : deep fries pita with a dip variety.

Fantastic falafels, so delicious even on their own - the falafel pita is awesome but for a snack, the falafels alone are great.

I really really liked this. It unfortunately didn't have tahini because I was sharing with my mom and she hates tahini for some reason, but in spite of that, it was still good and not at all dry. Plenty of hummus, the falafels were very flavourful and moist, and it was a nice change to have lots of pickled vegetables in addition to some thinly cut brinjal. I was also very impressed with the service, the guy who was taking our order was extremely friendly, and also helpful about letting us know what was vegan.

The BEST thing I’ve EVER eaten!! This falafel pita is INSANE! Delicious crunchy falafels and then most divine fillings- fried eggplant, hummus, chilli, pickles, and more! Do yourself a favour and get to Seapoint to try this!!

Falafel dreams come true! Yummy beyond. I opted for the pita on the side which I purchased for an additional R10 and it was so filling! The falafel balls were perfectly crispy (not mushy like other establishments.) The salads are fresh and juicy.

Seen Cape Town vegans raving about this on Insta. Just moved here and was really excited to try it. But honestly, I was really disappointed. Smelled too much like oil, the pita tasted like vetkoek (which is fine, but it’s not pita) and I felt a little sick after eating it. Maybe I’m just weird because everyone else seems to love this. #veganisnotscary

The pita bread is the best we’ve had. Light and soft. The falafels are just as good and the tahini is amazing. The only reason I’m rating down is because I found a hair in mine right at the end when I had a few bites left. Chose not to let it bias my opinion as the food was really good. They just need to make no hairs get stuck in there 😕

Could THIS be the best takeaway falafel pita in Cape Town? I think so! You’ll find The Falafel Guy at the Sea Point Promenade Pavilion in a tiny red shed. TRUST ME: you’re going to want to try this because this little gem of a food stand will soon become a household name. I give it my stamp of approval from the most insanely fresh ingredients, the best freshly-baked pita in CT, the location, and the ridiculously great price (R50). EVERYTHING is made from scratch (hummus, pita, falls, etc.), and it is 10/10 on taste and texture. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! #capetownveganmademedoit 🥙🧆🫓🌊
