lonesome star for value ($7) My goto #popiah fix 👉 134 Geylang East Ave 1, #01-229, Singapore 380134 at half the 💵 and tastes just as good, (if not better 🤭) Wheat skin enveloping a bunch of raw #vegetables, or so methinks. Too fixated on the dark, dingy sauce (sweet) smeared all over the top half that i lost the essential plot. Docking a star for missing #sesame dressing (nut free version) $8 for 10 discs of #brownrice cocooning strips of #ham, #carrots and chewy #spinach. Refreshingly #healthy to a fault (sans promised dressing) and filling for someone whose constantly hungry these days (dining out) #alliumfree #gimbap

The one bowl to demonstrate the difference between very #healthy and toohealthy 😉 We have comforting cubes of #taukwa , #greens and #carrot strips dunked in sippy format #pumpkin. Lovely sight of [free to roam and peck] bukit merah resident rooster & family 🐓 Tender and chewy #brownrice accompanying #spinach, #beansprouts, #cucumber + #carrot slivers and #mushrooms topped with a crusty #tofu with a mince -like texture in a perfectly balanced sweet and savoury #bibimbap sauce. A hearty bowl of red and brown rice with several types of vegetables, mushrooms, nuts and something that tasted like fermented tea leaves. Fresh lime squeezed over the dish brought out the flavour even more.

This had a strong and herby flavour. A very warming and comforting drink when suffering the aftermath of flu with its soothing effects on a sore throat and runny nose. Has a natural and authentic #lemongrass taste even though it's a powdered drink - I glimpsed the powder dregs at the bottom of the cup. Original price is $4, currently on promotion at $2 when you order a meal.

This was chock-full of different ingredients such as bak choy, cabbage, tofu, mushrooms and mock fish, accompanied by a dollop of sambal and a lime. The dish was flavourful and yet tasted clean of MSG. At $9, I found it expensive for a simple dish common at hawker centres. #localfood #friednoodles
