Not many ingredients, mainly rice, but so delicious. Rice was very fragrant, and the parts with gravy were even nicer. They had fresh veggies and delicious soy sauce tau kua. Not the most filling serving for a big eater like me but it was tasty and satisfying. #veganisnotscary 🎃

Their veggie fritter is the best I’ve tried so far.. it’s deep fried hence it’s really oily but it’s soooooo yums!! Love this veggie stall and they are very vegan friendly.

* please indicate that you’d like to order the vegan version. Orh luak has been my fav all along. Tried different vegan variations.. always loved Loving Hut’s version and not too impressed by the rest I’ve tried. But this is really really good.. It is almost creamy yet a lil chewy bite and flavour is great too. Even though the chilli isn’t the kind I like.. it is pretty good.. and it compliments the orh luak so well. Delicious! The curry is nice and tasty. Filled with chunks of mock meat and potatoes. Rice, vegetables, and bits of fritters on the side went well with the curry. What a hearty meal! #veganisnotscary

2nd time ate this but it tasted totally different so I decided to share my review again! 🥳🥳🥳 Today I felt I was eating the Oyster egg 😋 the texture was so perfect, tender chewy and crunchy and so yummy 🤤 This time we put the chilli, it was so good A bit spicy and sour.. We finished it and I almost lick every left over in the container 🤣🤣🤣

Orh Luak originally is fried oyster with egg. Ate vegan one at different restaurant, first time at hawker. I think it tasted yummy and chewy. Didn’t really taste the oyster and egg 😂 #abillionturns3

So happy to find a decent Kway Chap, the broth was great. This is their Saturday dish alongside with Duck Rice wasn’t prepared yet when we visited, check out my previous review for that. Ask for no egg as usual. The wide flat rice noodles tasted clean and the broth hits well. The tofu tasted like it was stewed hours on end. The uncle was super nice and gave us a free sample of another dish but that had egg so my mom had it. He also played a lot of Teresa Teng to set the Saturday mood 💆🏻‍♀️ #veganuary

🥡 The uncle is super friendly and always ask if you take eggs 🥡 His stir fry dishes have good wok hey & popular 🥡 I like this simple yet flavourful fried rice with pickled olive leaves, tofu & slivers of carrot. 🥡There are some mock meat but you can ask to omit it 🥡It is simple to heat up at home after take away.
