Our love affair with Italian food is long-term. In 1965, a wise man called Peter Boizot knew pizza in London could be better. So he shipped over an authentic oven from Italy, opened the first-ever PizzaExpress and got to work serving the great pizza the UK deserved.

I wasn't a fan of this. It's vegan mayo with tomato and herbs. For me there's too much going on and the flavours don't work well together.

A very unexpected pizza. My understanding is the the sloppy Giuseppe usually has ground beef, so I was expecting a beefless or lentil version - it's Quorn chicken 😂🙈 I enjoyed it nonetheless, Mozzarisella is top tier pizza cheese. Took ages to arrive and was stone cold 🙄

Wow! This was so good, I can't stop thinking about it 😋🍕 The vegan pepperoni is amazing and really authentic. I also really love the cheese they use here. Expensive but tasty!

These were a little overcooked on the outside (see photo 😂) but nice enough inside. The vegan garlic butter is really good!

The cheese at Pizza Express is absolutely fantastic! I also really like the toppings on this pizza but you can get other pizzas made with vegan cheese if you prefer. #animalsnow
