Probamos el Earth Meat Yakisoba y lo disfrutamos mucho. Son fideos de arroz integral con “carne” vegetal muy bien lograda, con un sabor que combina perfecto con la salsa yakisoba, dulce y salada a la vez. Se siete ad Osaka dovete provare questo locale in zona Dotonbori che offre tantissime scelte di piatti tipici con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Io ho preso lo speciale del giorno un ramen con brodo di soia, assolutamente buonissimoooo. Era una giornata molto calda ma appena ho letto il tipo di brodo ho voluto provarlo e non me ne sono affatto pentita :) aveva anche della fake meat/pollo. Tornerò in Giappone e questo posto sarà tappa fissa per provare tutto!😂 Bonus il personale super gentile (come sempre in Giappone dal tronde🥹).

A nice taste and satisfying dish. The cutlets are delicious and fill you up and in combination with some veggies and rice they make it a complete meal. A great way to get some food in your stomach and get you going again.

To get a vegan version of a Japanese curry is doable in Japan, but the vegan cutlet is more harder. A combination of both is just great, the taste of the curry and rice is great but not enough to fill you up, but that's the cutlets job, since you get 2 of them and after you finish this you are guaranteed to be filled up. The cutlets taste even better when they soak up the curry.

It's quite a challenge sometimes to find something vegan in Japan and to find a fully vegan Japanese restaurant is even better. This vegan version of a famous Japanese dish called Takoyaki is very interesting. Soft shell balls filled with something that tasted to me like mushroom, even though I don't like mushroom, this was doable for me. It was nice to try a vegan version of this dish for once.

Obviously you need to like matcha to enjoy this gelato - matcha isn’t my favourite but it was my partner’s choice. The gelato was lovely and light and smooth. Not too sweet. #veganosaka #osaka #gelato

Very flavourful, tangy pickles of various Japanese vegetables. These were a nice contrast to the deep fried crunchy dishes we also had. Only negative - a very small portion for ¥680. Everything here was quite pricy but I suppose you pay for the super central location and vegan tax. #pickles #japanese #osaka #veganosaka #veganinjapan

Cool to try a vegan version of a famous Osakan street food specialty while we were here 👏🏼 Takoyaki is usually fried octopus balls 🐙, this version uses a rice flour batter and konnyaku/konjac filling. The batter wasn’t super crunchy, they were pillowy and a little soft. Inside was a little tasteless but the sauce made up for it. ¥1000 for 10 balls. #takoyaki #osaka #veganosaka #veganinjapan

Pivot is a 100% vegan restaurant/bar in the heart of Dotonbori district in Osaka. Spacious inside (rare in Japan!), bright, modern, and an ideal stop off while sightseeing. Kushikatsu = crispy crumbed skewers with a mix of eggplant, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, pumpkin and soy meat. ¥980 for 5 skewers.
