This was served for dessert at Penelope's Vegan Taqueria. It was a little pricey at $12.50 but is a huge slice and was delicious! Moist #chocolatecake with sweet icing and topped with an #oreo. yet another amazing pie pie my darling cake! i’ve loved every #vegancake i’ve had from here and this one is another one of my favorites! the #chocolate cake is rich and doesn’t taste like cardboard (it actually tastes #chocolatey). the texture is great and the cake wasn’t dry. i love the #frosting because it’s light and not overpowering but still packed with flavor! the #oreos inside and outside of the cake were a nice addition because oreos are my favorite 👀 definitely a winner! get this one while it’s still the cake of the month! (i had it at handlebar)

so so good!! the gingerbread cake was almost reminiscent of a carrot cake to me (i do not know why) but it was packed with strong ginger and covered in this delicious cream cheese buttercream! it wasn’t overpowering like some frostings (especially buttercream) tend to be—the cream cheese buttercream from pie pie my darling is definitely a favorite of mine. i’m not a huge fan of sprinkles, but these didn’t have a weird taste like some sprinkles do and ended up just adding a bit of a crunch to the cake. overall, i would definitely order this one again and i’m really happy i got to try it before the end of the month! the gingerbread cake is one of my favorite flavors for sure.

Another beautiful and delicious slice of #cake from PPMD!! It's a large slice for $9 which will last me 2-3 servings so it is very worth it. Very sweet and the buttercream is silky. I do not want to know how much sugar is in this lol. Love this #smallbusiness :) Six layers of #vanilla cake tinted in the colors of the trans pride flag (pink, blue) filled and frosted with white vanilla #buttercream . 100% of proceeds from this cake will be split and donated to The Marsha P Johnson Institute and The Sylvia Rivera Law Project in honor and memory of the trailblazing trans women of color who spent their lives fighting for queer liberation! i have wanted this cake for such a long time and i’m so happy i finally tried it; it was phenomenal! i’ve never had cake this vibrant in color that tasted this good. typically, vibrantly colored cakes quite literally taste like food coloring; however, i found that this cake lacked the typical “mild plastic” taste that many colored cakes have. the frosting was plentiful but not totally overabundant, and i loved all the sprinkles. 10/10 for both appearance and flavor! (any cake from this bakery will be a 10/10, but i really liked how well the flavor was maintained despite the vibrancy of the cake layers themselves)

This is the 8inch cake, and I was able to get about 16 slices from it to share with friends. I've been enjoying #lemon desserts lately, so I wanted to give this a try. PPMD makes such delicious treats! This was lovely, but I probably won't get it again because I like their other flavors more. This cup cake is $7 and lasts me 3 servings because it's so sweet and rich. Very reasonable price in my opinion considering this is a #smallbusiness. 16 oz cup filled with scratch baked lemon cake crumbs, topped with lemon buttercream.

PPMD doesn't miss. If you like #coconut, this is great! The flavors are great and the shredded coconut is a wonderful touch. This $9 slice lasts me 2-3 servings. It's very sweet and the frosting can be overwhelming, which is why it always lasts me several servings lol. Very reasonable price in my opinion considering this is a small business.

this carrot cake was PHENOMENAL. i was pleasantly surprised by the balance between the cream cheese frosting and the cake; i didn’t feel like the frosting was overwhelming, nor was there too much cake. the cake itself was impressively not dry, and had a moist yet fluffy texture. the nuts coating the exterior of the cake added a subtle crunch without distracting from the other components, and the frosted carrot was a cute addition. i love being able to see the fresh carrot throughout the cake, and i thought it was professionally spiced. this carrot cake has taken the #1 spot in my ranking! definitely would recommend, you can tell these cakes are made with all the love in the world 🤍

Amazing as always. PPMD makes an amazing #strawberry buttercream! This cake slice was so delicious and moist! My non-vegan friends tried it and agreed it was fantastic 👏 Slice is large enough for 2-3 servings if you want to make it last or share with others:) Layers of vanilla cake filled with strawberry buttercream, frosted with vanilla buttercream, and covered in scratched baked strawberry vanilla streusel. Contains wheat and soy.

one of the best cakes i’ve ever had! the cake wasn’t dry at all, and the frosting was smooth and flavorful without being overpowering or sickening. the hazelnuts added a nice crunch, and the presentation was cute!
