This vegetarian place in Upper Thompson is quite new, they use egg, but it's quite simple to ask them to just remove. Simple cooking, quite tasty and healthy

These are listed on the menu as Vietnamese spring rolls, and the accompanying photo suggests that they will be. But it's more like a normal deep-fried veggie spring roll. Tastes okay, but nothing special.

You can order vegetarian chee cheong fun here with a variety of toppings and stuffings - I got the mock char siew version, and it's pleasingly yummy. Generous chunks of char siew, and lots of green veg!

Healthy and refreshing drink! The staff advised us to add soy milk or coconut water as it might taste a little bland otherwise with only the wheatgrass powder. (Ju Fu Vegetarian has taken over Maisons Bowl.) ($4.90)

Generous serving! Loved how the tofu was fried but not greasy. Quite spicy and nutty, balanced out with the fresh shredded vegetables. (Ju Fu Vegetarian has taken over Maisons Bowl.) ($5.90)

Rich and flavourful broth filled with lotus root, soy meat, huai shan, and 9 different fungi including monkeyhead mushrooms. A little expensive compared to other veg herbal soups in Singapore. This was a special item not in the permanent menu. (Ju Fu Vegetarian has taken over Maisons Bowl.) ($8, +$1.50 for brown rice)

Urgh, what can I say - after this place re-positioned into a vegetarian eatery, the food is still disappointing. Can’t believe I paid $7.80 for this thick gooey cheong fun w 5 pieces of monkey head mushroom. :(

I want to like this place so much but it’s just hard to. First, they ran out of tempeh, then, this bowl of just veggies plus one small bit of smashed avo costs $9.90. Don’t think I’ll visit again.
