I took a trip to Amritsar, Punjab a couple of years ago. Eating this curry brought me back to my foodie adventures. Great taste made even better by adding onions and maybe even lime. Btw, you are actually supposed to have this dish with makki di roti. Had it with naan and it still tastes great 👍🏽

Awesome 🤩 Sweet and fizzy. If you find the food a tad bit spicy, this is a great source of relief that also aids with digestion.

This was the highlight of my visit to Jaggi’s. Authentic and flavorful 🌶 The naan brought out the richness of the dish. Adding a drop of lime makes a huge difference to the taste - in a good way 😆

The dish doesn’t have any cream, butter or ghee. This dal is very nutritious because it’s filled with lentils. However, it lacked consistency and the portion size was too small. Also, do ask for lime and onion to add to the dal to make it more flavorful.

Jaggi’s North Indian is authentic homemade Punjabi cuisine. First, you queue for the food counter and collect the curries/bhajis. At that counter, indicate which breads you would like and they will give a buzzing token for when your bread is ready. I checked that the naan has no egg or butter and was pleased to hear it doesn’t. The bread became quite chewy and stretchy as it cooled so best to eat it as soon as possible. The garlic taste wasn’t all that evident, and I’d say the only indication of garlic was the presentation of the dish. Next time, I’d opt for a regular roti instead.

This is cooked in the baingan bharatta style! It’s 3.20$ single portion serving + 0.20$ takeaway container!! Haven’t tried taking my own BYOB. It’s really very tasty! A bit heavy though! It’s an easy meal & I usually eat it with reduced carb wraps / chia wraps! Would recommend!! #veganuary

Jaggi’s was an amazing find in my vegan journey. Most of items they offer are vegan and taste amazing. This place is really affordable as well. If you ever go try the aloo paratha, Channa masala and dal. #veganuary #consciousliving #plantbasedfood #healthy #fortheplanet

I love Jaggi's but this was kind of a miss for me because it was too sweet, and they don't make it to order so you can't really control the level of sweetness :/ will just stick to their food next time! 😅

I thought this was a bit meh and less flavourful compared to the other dishes we got but my vegetarian friend who has eaten a lot more dhal than me said this dhal was very good and she ate like at least half of this, so you should take her word for it and not mine! 😂 They also have yellow dhal but the guy at the counter recommended this one so that's what we got!

This is like my fav food to have at Jaggi's and I will always order it if it is available! So tasty in a way that I can't describe and I love the cauliflowers in this! 💕
