Eh… my friend really loves this, swears by this drink, orders it all the time but damn i CANNOT with this… 🍵 Like… I REALLY don’t get the taste of this… eat in a soba 🍜, have it in an ice cream 🍨, maybe a hot tea 🫖 but i cannot in this cold brew… 🥶

#soba — buckwheat 🌾 The ice cream has a slight roasted taste with a sweet taste, not too sweet which i like! 🍨 There are small little bites in there which I have no idea what they are ahhaha Nice thing is that i had it at night and it had no caffeine, so I could sleep well 😴

How is this not reviewed yet, this exquisite dessert from Hvala's flagship outlet? Such a delightful melange of textures, colours and flavours, gentle sweetness balanced brilliantly with bitterness, the chewy warabi mochi, the soft dango, the earthy azuki, harmonising to make one of the best desserts ever.

Got mine with soy milk! No extra charge for soy milk but they +$1 for oatside and +$1.60 for ice :") this matcha latte was really good and appreciate that they didn't use any disposables but there is a 1h limit for dine in so this place not the most friendly for those who want to sit around! $8.91 after all the GST and service charge #veganisnotscary #matcha

Love these waffles! Crispy on the outside and yet soft and fluffy on the inside. Great taste! Drizzled with syrup. Served with a vegan matcha gelato. There is a choice between Goma or matcha gelato. Sprinkled with toasted rice on the top. Japanese zen like ambience to be dining in as well! Price: $14.80

Apart from their really pretty furniture and plates, Hvala serves up some of the best vegan Japanese inspired desserts on the island. This blondie was no exception. The matcha went well with the sweetness of the blondie. The vegan ice cream was just the right amount sweet. And the way it melted over the blondie… it was a bloody beauty. #vegandessert #matcha

I didn't like the #matcha #gelato flavour as much as I did the black sesame, but if you're a tea lover then this one might have the right intensity and complexity of flavour for you 🙂 That plastic cup was never going to be capacious enough for the two giant scoops of good stuff though 😫

$5.50 for a single scoop of this #goma (#blacksesame) #gelato but it was 200% worth it 😛 One of my favourite flavours in the world for anything, let alone an ice-cold dessert on a sweltering afternoon. Clearly many others thought the same way; there wasn't a spare table to be found, and they crammed two scoops of the good stuff into a cup that didn't have the capacity for it 😏 Sticky fingers despite the plastic cup then 😒 At least my #sweettooth was happy ☺️

The belgian waffle was crispy on the outside and thick, soft and mochi-like on the inside, with a v subtle hint of cinnamon. Topped with crunchy roasted rice puffs & mildly sweet matcha oat mylk ice cream :D #waffles #matcha
