The statement stands! 🙌 Malaysian food often tastes better 😉 ..because of our low food safety & hygiene standards. Luckily this stall is absolutely disgusting! They’ve got more grease than the UK in the 60s 🤮 Ironic for a stall that has the gall to call themselves “Healthy Vegetarian”. This #veganlaksa was actually pretty good! Lots of Malaysians like to sh*t on Singaporean #laksa because it’s basically #currymee 🍜 but as an Sarawakian, barely even Malaysian to many Penangites I’ve met, I think it’s fuck*ng delicious 😜 The #noodles were a bit odd with a mix of #yellownoodles and some thick white noodles..? Both #eggfree though! You’ll only get #taugeh for “greens” but at least they include a mix of #tofu and #deepfriedtofu / #beancurd for protein 🤷‍♀️ Though while I appreciate the #droptheegg approach where they only include egg in their economy rice options, I wasn’t quite expecting to have an egg shell in my noodles! 🤢 So, if you think you can keep up with the (lack of) hygiene standards, I highly recommend the #guiltfreelaksa here! I personally have had enough with their absolute disregard for food safety. Kalau you tidak suka, your balik Malaysia lah!! 😤

The rice honestly tasted more like #nasikuning than #briyani 🤷‍♀️ To be fair this really isn’t the right place to order and assess #biryani as what it is. I think #veganbiryani at Chinese vegetarian stalls should be considered a dish/cuisine on their own. In that regards, the sweet and mutely #spicy flavour of the #curry is acceptable. I don’t crave it because I generally prefer my curries with more fragrant flavours but I know some* prefer this. The #fakemeat they used was alright but this, like the rest of the sides this meal was served with just came from their #economyrice / #mixedrice section. Mine had some hair in it 🤮 so they picked it out and gave a little extra curry in favour 🍛 The okra on the side are on add-on for S$1 to the base meal of S$4.50. Otherwise it comes with a side of cucumber 🥒 and a stir fry of cauliflower and broccoli 🥦 Bang for the buck it is not, especially with Veggie 121 https://app.abillion.com/restaurants/singapore-veggie-121-10709848 so nearby with their even better, albeit only available on certain days, #nasibriyani 🌾 Oh, and this place only has plastic cutlery even if you choose to dine-in 🙄 *weaklings, people with incorrect opinions

Not gonna lie, I'm actually blown away by how good this is 🤩 I've seen my colleagues order this #tomyam fried rice a couple of times but never thought to get it for myself! I do after all lean towards noodles but gosh was this #friedrice ever good 🤤 First off, the portion! For S$4.50 they gave plenty of rice 🍚, #tofu 🫘, and #fakemeat 🌻 The #fuchuk beancurd skin thingy on the side was an add on.. at a pricey S$1.50 😱 Let’s not get ahead of ourselves though, this was an amazing dish! So rich and so filling, this may be a #bestpicks candidate for the area 😋

It may not look like it but there’s #kuehteow buried somewhere inside there 🙈 I had this packed in a #takeout container for lunch along with my colleagues but decided to head for the office to eat instead cause *sigh* I didn’t pack my cutlery set thinking we’d eat at the office only to later find seats at the food court 🧑‍🍳 The stall.. on top of being disappointingly vegetarian 🤢 also only provides #uselessplastic cutlery 🥢 Honestly I really don’t get it when hawker stalls do this, like why?? 🙄 Oh so yeah, the #kuayteow is under that pile of #sambal and preserved vegetables and as hard as it is to see was it to appreciate! The #charsiew was the highlight of the #kuaytiao with everything else tasting like nothing but clogged arteries 🫀 Not something I’d usually complain about but heck at least make it taste good 🤷‍♀️ Also ps. the preserved vegetable was an add on and not included 🥬 Overall, worth it #forthedollar but I’m now even more skeptical of their other dishes 🥱

I’ve done #takeout from this place a number of times but the only photos I seem to have are of the times I actually ate their food at the stall 😅 For today’s lunch I tried their #curry for the first time after clarifying that it is indeed vegan 🌱 That’s my main qualm with this stall to be honest compared to the plenty other vegan hawkers around in other food courts. Why not just #droptheegg and end the needless cycle of suffering? 😕 The food’s alright and they have a pretty standard selection of items but in spite of the stall’s name I won’t label its food quite #healthy yet 😉 so. much. oil. 😐

The “Healthy” Vegetarian strikes again. It’s perfectly gooey and slimey, the way good hor fun should be. Can barely tell it’s vegan, I was so distracted by how good the flat noods were

i really REALLY missed cai fan while i was in the States so this made me super happy hehe. generally this stall has quite a good range of options, and their veggies were really well-cooked! not too soggy which tends to be the case. p.s. there's now another veg stall in Amoy in the opposite row facing this one

i miss hokkien mee and this was really quite good. would have liked more veggies but the wok hei flavour was stronk 😚 aunty was conscientious of my no egg preferences too! $4.50 only

Only downside was broccoli is a bit too hard for my liking!!! Got rice and 2 veg for $2, and they always give a HEAP of ingredients (even though i was their first customer), and drench everything in curry sauce❤❤❤ uses to frequent their ghim moh outlet a lot in JC, and this outlet does NOT disappoint!

So many options at this veg stall! I love their tom yum fried rice which is made on the spot - you can watch the flames rise high from the wok 🔥🔥 I added some sides to fill me up. Do ask for their chili - it's great!
