I really liked the taste of the frosting but I thought the ration of frosting to cake was too high. The cake was very good also, just felt like there wasn’t enough of it compared to how much frosting there was. Would order again if I was specifically craving a carrot cake. Overall it was better than many vegan carrot cakes I have had.

I loved these little nuggets of tofu. Fried crispy and tossed in a sweet and spicy Asian bbq sauce, served with pickled veg. This went really well with the Bahn Mi. Would order again! They were not overly spicy, either :)

First time trying this Bahn Mi and I did like it quite well. The bread was good, not dry or too flaky. The protein was medium thin cut tofu which was decent enough and the pickled veg was good. The sauce was plentiful and this one was a bit messy to eat. It definitely got on my pants and shirt and down my arm but that’s mostly my fault for eating to so quickly 😂 Would order again.

Excellent dish! Tofu was made beautifully! Perfectly pressed and great texture. Something a lot of restaurants that serve tofu struggle to get correct. A tad messy, but that adds to the experience! It comes in Regular or Hot crispy tofu. I opted for the Hot as I wanted some kick to my sandwich and wasn't disappointed! Not too hot, but hot enough to make your mouth burn 🔥 Like the good kind! Overall: Top choice if you have not been here before. Opt for the Regular if spice isn't your thing. Toppings: Extra crispy tofu chicken, pickles, spicy slaw, and garlic mayo(vegan). Can add avocado, gardeineia, and vegan cheese.

You do have to ask for vegan cheese, as its a vegetarian restaurant. picture is shown with the vegan cheese. pro tip add a side of their ranch (its vegan and green!) AND hot gardinara. This sandwich is bomb. so greasy, so good. Also they used to consistently have the best fries in all of chicago land, not sure if thats still the case, last time i went the fries were meh (after being standardly awesome for years)

This sandwich is so tasty when you want a plant based option without a fake meat patty! The pretzel bread truly makes it! We had it with a rare special of brussel sprouts! Perfect meal! #mercyforanimals
