Knowing that the restaurant is shutting down its fortune centre outlet, I know I needed to try it when I’m nearby the vicinity. Have seen recommendations from this store from vegan/ vegetarians Instagram accounts. Didn’t regret getting this though it is more expensive than other Indian restaurants at $6. All ingredients (chutney, sambar and dosa) tasted fresh! thosai was really crispy! Masala was piping hot which was comforting. Portion is pretty huge, can be shared among 2pax for small eaters. The cashier looks rather bored and reluctant but the chef who has some lull time gave me a new bowl of sambar when he saw that I almost finished mine 😅 will go back to try their briyani and other dishes for sure!

Compared to the chicken rice at prive, this is way better in execution and price! Love the chunks of soy meat and the rice was absolutely delish! Soup was on point too. Visit Gokul @ fortune center before they close!

This dish is usually my fave from Gokul but today's serving wasn't as tasty as I remembered.. 🤔 I'm going to miss having them at Fortune Centre!

I never expected one of my favourite chicken rice ever to come from an Indian restaurant. But between the chewy well flavoured Seitan chicken, Pandan chicken and broccoli and soup, this is legit one of the best and most unique renditions of chicken rice I've had. The only thing I would do differently is perhaps the rice, which is not as fragrant as some other stores. 100% worth trying!

The food at Gokul never disappoints. Piping hot and fragrant pandan infused rice topped with crispy papadom, crunchy roasted peanuts, sambal goreng (tempeh, beancurd, french beans), and otah (hiding under crackers). The otah has good texture, I am usually not a fan of otah because of the mushy texture but this was firm and chewy). Filling portion though the one pictured here, I had requested for lesser rice already. Also attentive customer service by floor staff who will usually check in on your order (without being asked) if he sees that you have been waiting for your food for a while. This item is priced at $7 on the menu.

my first time ordering delivery from gokul. i didn’t eat it until an hour and a half after it arrived but it’s still good. i’ve had it at the restaurant a couple of times and obviously it’s better hot and fresh but it’s still delicious. i love the creaminess of it. one thing great about gokul is the portion, you can probably keep half of it for another meal.

A disappointing meal considering it's at a vegetarian place. The chapati gets hard just after 5 mins tht it makes me feel it's an instant one n not freshly made. A fresh chapati will take a longer time before it gets hard,or at all. The portion of the curry is so small, so i think it's a wee bit overpriced,but then again maybe it's considered a 'restaurant' so it's justifiable to charge that at that price. Not a satisfying meal. Blearghh

This was amazing! The chunks of vegan meat were really tasty. The achar (fermented vegetables) on the side goes very well with the dish and I wish they give more! The curry served was really spicy 😛 but delicious!
