Almost all the food/cakes here are vegan. I was in heaven! So much choice. We had cake and coffee. I had chocolate cake (eaten before thought to take a picture 🤭) and partner had coffee cake - both vegan whoop! Was delicious and a really cute cafe

Yum! I shared this #cake with my friend because it was quite rich, but it was sooo tasty! There was an option to have it warmed which we went for (definitely a good choice!) and to have it with vegan cream or vegan ice cream (we went for cream - we assumed it would be double cream but it turned out to be whipped cream - it was still tasty!) The cake itself was moist and sticky, and had little bits of #stemginger in which was a nice touch. Shared this Middle Eastern platter with my sister on a recent visit. It was lovely and the flavours were really good. It consisted of sweet pot borek with pomegranate glaze, tabbouleh, falafels, hummus, beetroot dip and flat bread. Quite a good amount to share for £27.90 although it could have done with a couple more falafel and bit more salad. Staff were really friendly, helpful and warm. Would definitely go back again when I'm in the neighbourhood.

I love nothing more than a cream tea, but unfortunately I am not a huge fan of sultanas which you usually find in vegan scones BUT the strawberry scones at Goji Café were so yummy and a nice surprise. The scones were a nice texture, soft and weren’t too dry, and in my experience, much better than the famous Betty’s in York. I will be adding Goji Café as a firm favourite when visiting York in the future and definitely recommend to vegans and non-vegans alike! P.S. We were told that ALL of their desserts are vegan, which included some amazing-looking cakes! 🍰

I fell in love with this! The pastry is crunchy and crumbly and the filling is very rich but with a delicate taste. It is served with two salads of choice.

I loved the icecream because it had a genuine and strong vanilla flavour. The cheesecake had a good texture but the flavour wasn't very defined.. nor the cheese part nor the jam

Yum! I bought this thinking it was a plain caramel/chocolate cake (I didn’t bother to read the label because it just looked so tasty) and was pleasantly surprised by the ginger flavour. Goji knows how to bake #cakes so they have the perfect consistency; every #cake I have tried here has been light, moist and spongy, and full of flavour (and almost all are vegan too!). This had a strong, natural #lemon taste, reinforced by the sweet citrus tang of the frosty icing. They weren’t sparing with the poppy seeds which I liked; it gave it an interesting texture. I have never tried a #cake from Goji that I have not liked. This had a very unusual flavour for a cake which sort of reminded me of soap, but somehow it worked and went really well with the subtle pistachio taste, as well as the coconut cream and berry compote. The cake was perfectly moist and I got quite a generously sized slice, too! #veganyork #sweettreats #vegancake #cakes
