Made with basil pesto, goat cheese, sausage, marinated peppers (all housemade and vegan). Some friends of mine, two vegans and one omni, came here, with the omni being her first time here. She insisted that we pick because she had no idea whatsoever what to get. My vegan friends selected this (I selected my all-time favorite, the White Pizza). This worked out well because I thought I had tried everything on the menu and have also reviewed them all, but it looks like this will be my first review on this. Everything here is so good, you really can’t go wrong. My omni friend was blown away with everything, including the Caesar salad and focaccia bread and butter. The only thing she wasn’t too crazy about was the cheesecake (I personally LOVE their cheesecake. I added a photo here, since I’ve already reviewed it a while ago). She saved some leftovers for her vegetarian son, and he loved it too. And she hasn’t even tried my other favorite, the calzone yet! This place is always so packed when I come, and I’m sure most of them are not vegans. If you want to impress a non-vegan, this is the place to take them! They just opened up a bar, which I haven’t tried yet. I’m still stuck in my old routine of picking up a beverage at the nearby Whole Foods, especially since they have my favorite lemon Italian soda that pairs so well with the dishes here. #pizza #pestopizza #veganoahu #woodfiredpizza #goatcheese

Reviewing this for #NationalPastryDay today since calzones are considered savory pastries. This is one of the best items made by this eatery. They haven't been making it for quite a while and we were fortunate to have it made specially for us by the owner who owed a favor to an employee who is a friend of ours.

My friend and I got this on the spur of a moment after we had already decided on a pizza. It was so good that it turned out to be the highlight of our meal. The texture of the bread was perfect, a little crispy crust, and soft and airy inside. The butter is not only so vibrant and beautiful, but also so delicious and creamy with this bread, the perfect spread. There actually wasn’t enough for us, as we ran out of it before finishing the bread. But the bread alone is still very tasty. This might be our usual to accompany whatever pizza or other meal we get here. My friend liked it so much that he even commented that this would have been a sufficient meal on its own. However, everything here is so delicious, that it would be a shame to not get anything else with this. I’ve been hearing all the buzz lately about hot honey pizza (pun intended), so I treated a friend of mine who celebrates national food holidays to this in recognition of #nationalhoneybeeday🍯🍯🍯🐝🐝🐝. The honey is made with apples, but I’m not sure what kind of peppers. We both agreed that the hot honey adds a unique flavor, but we wouldn’t get it again. The hot honey really does taste like honey, and the white pizza really does taste like all the cheeses it was made to replicate, so I don’t think that we were missing out on flavor just because it’s all plant based, but rather he and I just love pizza too much, so anything that’s going to change the flavor (from the savory cheesiness and spices to a sweet pizza) isn’t going to be enhancing. We only drizzled a little bit on the pizza, so we had quite a bit left. We added some to our coconut water drink that we brought with us. That added a nice flavor, almost like tea. We also had this hot honey on one of our prior visits drizzled on one of their cheesecakes. That was really good. So yes, we love their white pizza and their hot honey, just not together. We got there before they opened, so I was able to get a clear photo of their outdoor dining area. Don’t let the emptiness fool you. It’s a really popular place and often very full and busy. Ambiance is really nice, especially after sundown with all their cozy lighting and chill music. This particular evening, they were playing jazz. Their music is never so loud that you have to raise your voice to socialize. It’s just right. I included a photo of the back of my shirt, a bee 🐝 print that my friend made for me. There are words in it, kind of hidden. If you feel like it, see if you can figure them out. Here are some clues.: 1) There are 5 words, plus my name. 2) 3 words make up a phrase. I used all 3 of those words in my review here. 3) 4 of the words are intentional and relatable to a vegan theme. 1 of the words is coincidental. I’ve tried just about all of their pizzas, and they’re all fantastic. This one features meatballs, mozzarella, ricotta, Parmesan, and basil. The ambiance is just perfect too, and now even better because they just opened their indoor bar and seating area. #pizza

This blend of pesto, sausage (which I think is made of vital wheat gluten), “goat” cheese, and pickled yellow peppers are spot on. 4 generous slices with their homemade dipping marinara sauce. Seems pricey at first, but I took this home and enjoyed with a bowl of salad, making this good for four meals for me. I just reheat in my air fryer. I had picked up another calzone (3 Cheese) for a friend, but while I was there, waiting to pick up my order, I was wishing that we were there to enjoy it. The ambience was so relaxing. String lights were on, pleasant crowd, and they were playing classical oldies music. This little hole in the wall would be a great place to bring and impress a non-vegan friend/family member.

Both my friend and I agreed that this was best calzone we ever had, even compared to ones we had before being vegan. The soft and fresh, chewy dough and filling of their ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and garlic confit is perfection. #nationalcalzoneday

Not a regular flavor on their menu (a fall special). Thankfully, not one I’ll miss nor get again if it’s back in future seasons, but their regular cheesecakes are phenomenal. Their seatings have expanded since I was last there. They are constantly improving, and will soon have indoor dining. I hope that they’ll always have the outdoor patio, as it’s a very relaxing atmosphere. #nationalpumpkinday

This is a combo of pesto and nut goat cheese. Even though it comes with tomato sauce, we had them add Vodka sauce, which is featured in another pizza. All their ingredients are so gourmet and delicious, you really can’t go wrong with whatever combination you feel like exploring. #NationalPizzaMonth

Always a different flavor of cheesecake here, but they’re all good and tastes so rich and authentic. I’ve been getting this on every visit for pizza, even just to save out for another day. A friend and I split the full size for #NationalCaesarSaladDay. Not the best Caesar salads I’ve had, and greens were a little wilted, but I’m just happy that they offer this because I feel that pizza’s are incomplete without a salad to go with it, no matter how good they are, and pizzas are their specialty (they’re the best).
