Been on my list of bakeries to visit/try & finally popped by Firestone bakery since I was in the area! Heard so much about their sourdough and their pastries look great as well
Incredibly friendly and helpful customer service staff - shared that I wanted to try sourdough but can’t finish, asked if they sold halves, and they offered to do that for me! 🥰 even gave recommendations when I couldn’t decide between flavours.
Store was actually fairly bustling w customers but they rly gave me full attention which I didn’t expect once the other customers were attended to! Immediately came from behind counter to help me retrieve loaf for slicing into half. Later still further shared on best storage method (2 days rm temp, 1 month freezer) if I still couldn’t finish. Rly 💯💯 friendly staff giving your cozy neighbourhood bakery vibes 🥺
Do note that halves are slightly more expensive than wholes and not sure if they would sell in this way all the time.
The loaf itself looks and feels SO promising - great level of hydration, chock full of ingredients, crust, smell, bread texture 👍🏻

Btw when I stepped into the bakery at abt 3.30pm Sat aftn, it was so full of freshly baked spicy tangy garlic sourdough cos that was what was being baked atm 😍
Also was eyeing their choc sourdough baguette but I was too slow in deciding and another customer grabbed the last one 🤭
they have a much wider range of pastries and flavours available than their fixed menu suggests, so do check in w them and apparently you can pre-order/reserve via their socials or contact, as their bakes can run out quite quickly!
