Amazing vegan tacos from Fat Cactus 🌵 really have to commend them for all their vegan options and their creativity. Black bean, caramelized onions, their own vegan cheese, guacamole and salsa. Absolutely delish and deceptively filling 🌱

1000/10 would recommend these nachos at Fat Cactus! The portion size is very generous, lots of cheese sauce which they make themselves from carrot and potato so it’s not rich at all. The flavour is beyond mind blowing and if you get the refried beans option, let me tell you, those beans are so unbelievably tasty, you won’t be disappointed. My absolute favourite go to restaurant and meal 🌱

This is supposed to be a starter, but it was enough as a main meal for me. Crispy nachos, enough garnish and nicely melted cheese. Overall, a great dish! Pairing it with margaritas and ocean views, you have the perfect Friday evening!

There was hardly any cheese in these poppers, just a liiiiiiiittle bit of runny cheese at the bottom. I guess the vegan version is served with guacamole and not salsa mayo as indicated on the menu. I probably won't get this again. Wasn't tasty at all. But the view is pretty good! #reviewwithaview

This is the only quesadillas that has the V sign next to it, so can be a vegan dish. I am disappointed in the portion, this cost 111 rand… I expected a proper size. The taste was okay, nothing too wild or amazing. I would try all the other dishes before I’d order this again.

Great presentation, quite spicey but not that much cheese in there. It’s a great portion, though if you wanted something smaller. Glad to have a Fat Cactus in Blouberg with all the good vibes!

This is a really great margarita. Fresh like juice and balanced. Salty as it should be. Happy hour makes it affordable.

This burger on the Fat Cactus menu is plain but tasty and the chips were really good. It's a good option for a non-vegan restaurant and they have plenty of other options to try if you are not a burger person. Now I love the Fat Cactus brand and have been frequenting them for 20 years when they only had the Mowbray branch so I was excited to see they had opened one at Eden on the Bay. Unfortunately the service there is horrendous. The wait staff avoid making eye contact with you and give off a "this is not my table so it's not my problem" vibe. We weren't actually sure who our waiter was as we never got the same person twice and when we asked for the bill we had to do so 3 times, waited more than 25 minutes and eventually we had to threaten to walk out without paying to get them to bring it. I saw a waitress running after another table that seem to have also got tired of waiting. I really hope they can improve by getting in staff who actually are interested in customer service. I have never experienced this at any of their other branches so I was incredibly disappointed.
