I tried a small piece of my friend’s #banoffeepie. The coffee cream topping was deliciously fluffy and smooth, with large slices of sweet banana submerged underneath. The base was crumbly and tasty, and altogether it was perfect. It first I was disappointed by the amount of smoothie we got, but actually it was just the right amount (it was quite thick and filling), and I like how it came in a wine glass. It contained cocoa, banana, soya milk and flax/chia seeds, and was pleasantly warm, which you don’t often get with smoothies. I finally found a vegan #pasteldenata in Lisbon!! These little custard-filled pastries are a famous Portuguese dessert, and I have walked past so many pastelarias with not a vegan option in sight :( Luckily, we found this #100percentplantbased #veganrestaurant with loads of delicious #vegandesserts to try, including this #pastry! It was all that I’d hoped - slightly warm, tasty and creamy vanilla custard on the inside, surrounded by a flaky, chewy pastry. What a find! I was not expecting to find a #100percentplantbased #restaurant this holiday, and definitely not a vegan all-you-can-eat buffet! The flavours and presentation of all the food I tried seemed carefully thought through, and the staff were super friendly and chatty, and helpfully explained what some of the dishes were. I liked all of it, but my favourites were the homemade hummus (obviously), the batatas bravas with garlic mayo, and the little polenta squares. I ate so much food, but it was worth it to try a bit of everything. The whole buffet was well presented and very tasty. We had 3 servings and are bursting. Great flavors. Could have had more tags for each dish. Friendly staff.

Just a taste of the buffet from DaTerra on June 6 2020. The soup was cream of pumpkin (abóbora). The soup didn't taste much like pumpkin to me, which was a little disappointing. Still tasty, just not a lot of pumpkin flavor. On the right we have a selection of cold options. Quiche, stuffed tomatoes, soy balls, rissoles, kabobs, salad. The salad was really good!
