Spotted this new #burger restaurant with a single #veganfriendly main option on the menu. It's a sweet potato and onions #croquette #sandwich with mixed #vegetable caponata and #lettuce. #Caponata is a #Sicilian dish consisting of chopped fried aubergine and other vegetables, seasoned with olive oil, tomato sauce, celery, olives, and capers, in an agrodolce sauce. Because of the aromatic ingredients used, this #veggieburger smells fantastic and reminded me of an expensive pizza 🍕 One negative thing about this burger was how dry it was. It’s not enough sauce. I guess the #veganised version meant having less sauce? 🤨 I was struggling to finish it… it’s so dry.
