They ran out of the pain au chocolate, so this was my second choice. I enjoyed it, although it was a little dense/underbaked. The flavour was nice, I didn’t notice too much coconut. I loved the nut butter on top!

My mom arrived in Brussels this morning from Canada, first stop, coffee! I had to take her to this nut butter specialty coffee shop, which I loved when I first came. This praline hot chocolate was sooo nice. Rich, earthy chocolate with a hazelnut butter and oat mylk. Pricey at 6€ but a nice treat!

Super flaky pastry! The description of this one spoke to me, although I didn’t get much of the speculoos or the nut butter, just mostly cinnamon. Still, it was a damn good cinnamon pastry, a bit soft in the middle but still very crispy. Would have been nice to have a little layer of almond butter maybe as some bites were a little dry, but still really enjoyed this. #pastrylover #speculoos #cinnamonlover 3.60€

Wow. One of the best chais I’ve ever had. This coffee shop is famous for its homemade nut butters, and its infusion of nut butter into all its drinks! What couldn’t you love about this. This drink was divine, so nutty, with warm chai spices that were very delicate, and foamy milk. You can tell their #nutbutters are really well made because it just had this creaminess that was so impressive. At the bottom of the drink was some leftover nut butter, making it the best sip of all! These coffees are super expensive though, a whopping 6.50€ for this one. But definitely worth trying! #chailover

Review 1800! This was simply divine #droolworthy This perfect kouign amann #pastry stroke a delicate balance between #buttery, #flaky layers and a #caramelized, slightly #crunchy exterior. It had a rich, buttery flavor with just the right amount of #sweetness. The layers were distinct, with a crispy exterior and a soft, tender interior. The #caramelization on the outside adds depth of flavor and texture without being overly sweet or burnt. It was indulgent, satisfying, and memorable. The homemade #almondbutter on the Kouign-Amann was incredibly thick and rich! #kouignamann

It doesn’t look really good, I must admit, but I swear: it was MEMORABLE 😋 The chocolate inside was really melty and the top was flaky and crunchy. A must try when in Brussels!
