Another amazing #brioche donut. The #cream filling in this one was accumulated to one side so wasn't uniform throughout, but the soft brioche donut on its own was also good, so it didn't detract too much. Lots of rich, creamy chocolate drizzled on top made this even better. Highly recommend this cafe for breakfast in #neworleans. It's in a slightly quieter area which is nice, and easy to walk to from the convention center or the French quarter. #veganbakery #veganbakedgoods #vegandonut #sweettooth #veganisnotscary

I've never had a #brioche donut before, and it was incredible! A lot more bread-y than normal #donuts, but still light and sweet. The #vanilla icing with sprinkles also added a delightful sweetness. I was surprised by the #creamcheese icing filling; not sure it was needed, but it was good! This was a super tasty biscuit breakfast sandwich! The #biscuit had a light #pumpkin flavor and was nice and soft and fluffy. The andoullie sausage had a great spicy flavor that was cooled down by the #tofuscramble and #aioli. Also had some fresh greens and a tomato. Of the 4 items we ordered from this vegan bakery, I thought this was the best. It had a nice flavour and the portion size was generous. The nuts added a pleasant crunch and I was glad they were included. Some of us found the brownie dry but I think that’s a personal preference regarding fudgy versus cakey brownies. I liked the texture! Not the best brownie I’ve had (by a long shot!) but tasty enough. #brownie #neworleans #chocoholic

This sandwich has a house-made veggie burger, grilled Onion, roasted Tomato, Pickled Jalapeños, Provolone and sauce. We tried 3 savory dishes and a brownie here and nothing was great. We requested the impossible patty which fortunately was free to sub in. The bread itself was nice but overall this failed to impress. $12 in 2024 #burger #neworleans #saveveganrestaurants

This toast has #tofu scramble, cheddar, mushrooms and a creole remoulade. Sadly nothing in this vegan cafe impressed us. I know they have multiple locations, so maybe we should have visited another spot (this one was downtown in the lower portion of an office building). It was not very clean and although the food wasn't awful, everything was just OK. I would not come back. #toast #neworleans #tryharder

This bakery is amazing! The sandwich I got was so good, and the atmosphere of the place is really nice and clean. The employees were really friendly too! The only thing is that the sandwiches are a little small for the price and that if you don’t go when they just open it is likely they won’t have all the ingredients or breads. But nevertheless, amazing vegan bakery in New Orleans!

Biscuit tower was satisfying, definitely cured the hunger, and the bread was GREAT. The fillings could have more flavor, just some more salt and pepper. Blueberry tea biscuit aka scone was just ok. I think the vegan blueberry scones Whole Foods sells are better but these ones here are definitely healthier and less full of sugar!

@breadsonoak was an amazing surprise in my quick trip to New Orleans! I stayed close by and my hotel didn’t have anything vegan (only oatmeal, but it would cost 16 dollars @hilton failed with vegans). Breads on Oaks is an organic, plant-based cafe that uses levain for all their home made breads. It was all great! I had breakfast there twice and I even got a sandwich to my trip back to New York! Highly recommend!
