It was my very first time trying the build your own - vegan style at Blaze. The crust is absolutely perfectly made and is vegan! I must say that the veggies (artichoke, spinach, basil, & tomato) were fresh, the sauce was the regular red but the cheese was not my favorite. I was unaware of the simple fact that they use Daiya cheese. I am not a fan of daiya cheese, especially when it is melted. It gives a plastic like taste and a very strange rubber texture. However, I really enjoyed it cold the following day. If you like daiya, you should definitely try, if not maybe steer away from adding cheese and making it a plain veggie pizza.
