It’s too sweet for my liking but it’s an interesting flavor. The pear stands out but I wished the osmanthus could’ve been more “umpf” since I went for this instead of my og dark choc choice bc I was hoping to taste more of the osmanthus. Sweetness stacked up towards the end but I managed to finish it. It’s a good try!

This was an absolute delight to have! You can taste both the osmanthus, oolong and pear that is made in collaboration with grypohon tea group. It’s refreshing and light on the palate! 😍😍😍

All time favourite chocolate ice cream! This dark chocolate sorbet is creamy and decadent. The sweetness level is just right as well. Top it on waffles or eat it on its own. Such a lovely treat! There are a few non dairy options at Birds of Paradise. Particularly love how they infuse botanical elements in their ice cream flavours. #veganisnotscary

Update- I took the chocolate sorbet again, this time with scoop of the peach-rose. The texture was creamy and the flavor was great - rich and creamy and intense for the chocolate sorbet, and light and refreshing for the peach-rose. The price of SGD 8 for 2 scoops (SGD 5 for one) is really fair. Although I got one of the last scoops of the chocolate sorbet for that day the texture was creamy, no ice crystals. I am so glad they reopened, such a pleasure. Totally worth waiting in line. I just wish they had more (non-fruit) vegan varieties.

Their sorbets do not contain dairy! Unfortunately their cones are not vegan. The peach and rose sorbet tastes tart and peachy while their dark chocolate is really rich. The sorbets itself are really soft and creamy, I don't taste any crunchy ice in it thankfully. The scoops are generous too. There is however some bitter aftertaste, which i think comes from the wooden spoon.

They have some sorbets that may be vegan, tho I didn't ask. For me the ice cream was decent and pretty good but not amazing. The amazing thing for me was the thyme wafer cone which they make by hand individually in the store, using their own batter. It costs an extra $1 but I really love the fragrance of the thyme in the cone! Super YUMMY 💕
