This is a very pleasant cafe I like to visit although they still only have vegan sausage roll as a savoury option. They are very accommodating and make up a salad bagel on request. This time the helpful staff member double checked that the bagel was vegan ✔️ and offered to toast it which gave it a nice texture. I wish they’d had some vegan cheese. I’ll do some gentle nudging towards that next time 😚 #veganinlondon #ditchdairy #bagel

I was back at #armonicafe for a second consecutive visit - the turmeric latte is so good - and I spotted this jar of protein snacks. Couldn’t resist trying one. Verdict - very tasty, rich, packed with goodness and an ideal portion. I think it’s a healthy choice when you’re mid afternoon and tempted by all the cake! #veganinlondon #proteinsnacks #peanutbutterlover

Another very nice cafe in #crouchend but they are short on vegan savoury food. The only official vegan snack is a vegan sausage roll. I asked if I could have a customised bagel of salad only and they were very obliging. It made a good snack - #cucumber #tomato #rocket I’m going to keep plugging away at requests for vegan options and I reckon the cafes will start to branch out and offer more. I mean, what’s hummus for if not for adding to a bagel? Or cashew spread..or avocado…or tofu…or vegan sausage…😻 #veganinlondon #goplantbased #veganisnotscary #veganfortheanimals

I’m re-reviewing the sausage roll from Armoni coffee house. It’s a been a while since I first tried it. As always, delighted that they’ve got something vegan in the savoury section but wearying slightly from that being a sausage roll! I always hope to see something like a vegan cheese and tomato toasty, but they are rare. This sausage roll was warmed up and served on its own. I would’ve enjoyed a bit of fresh green garnish. The pastry was nicely browned and flaky. The filling was too much of a paste for my taste. More like a stuffing blend. I’m more of a rough nutty mix fan. However, I ate it all with relish as it was nice to have savoury instead of sweet. Quite pricey at £6.95. The cafe is pleasant, warm and filled with the aroma of freshly ground coffee which they grind in the same space. #veganinlondon #vegansausageroll #vegansnacks

Pleased to find another cafe that sells beetroot latte. I had it with oat milk. It’s a delicate taste, not an overpowering flavour of beetroot but the earthiness is there. Warming and nutritious. Served in a see through, heatproof cup. The cafe is also the space where they grind their fresh coffee beans - rich aroma. #veganinlondon #beetrootlatte #ditchdairy

There’s a countless number of cafes in this pleasant part of London, but not many of them score well on the provision of vegan food. Because so much cafe food is something they prepared earlier they can’t adapt anything to be vegan either. Armoni Coffee house had a selection of baguettes and filled croissants but none were vegan. There was just this lonesome #vegansausageroll so I nabbed it as this was our third attempt to find a cafe with something vegan. The very nice person serving warmed it up which made it much more appealing straightaway. It was a densely packed filling of well-herbed ‘something’ - soybean perhaps. Sage was the strongest flavour which I enjoyed. The pastry was not too thick and was in good proportion to the filling. The cafe has a pleasant atmosphere and uses organic coffee beans to make a good, hot oat flat white and the like. #cafesnack #govegan #alwaysaskforveganoptions
