I'm supposed to like this (with the heat) and by far the most affordable #malaxiangguo in SG where they don't price end product by weight. #veganisnotscary #pigtrotters (new hashtag), latter my mom and my late father's favourite. Never had it before though, quite a turnoff with vague memories of her stirring a pot of fatty whatever's in there, the sight of which is sufficient to swear me off dinner then So its #sweettooth friendly (sugar methinks) mixed with #vinegar on #blackfungus and mutton chunks maybe? 被骗了，咸甜只带甜. Had me so excited for a while thinking its the savoury variation sans garlic (have yet to come across one in SG short of slogging it out in the kitchen myself) 😔 Under $2 for a sweet treat looking a tad shell (tortoise) unflattering though still delivering its sticky, starchy #kueh (steamed chinese cake) goodness with thoughtful #mungbeans for protein + fried salty mungbeans in the mix for texture. Nothing much to say apart from it being tooth friendly not, as usual #dessert #甜品 #angkukueh #alliumfree

At 3 for $2.50 or a single wedge at 90c, strictly a #forthedollar item (give me the $ already) It did not wow even with Impossible tagged to its branding with a generic soya-ish, shreddy texture.
