Great for stews and “pulled pork” meals. Absolutely delicious if made correctly.
I enjoyed cooking the jackfruit, it was just a bit tedious to prepare it for cooking though, the recipe needed the core to be discarded. It was my first time eating jackfruit so not sure if I’d have to do this every time I use it. Although I was a bit lazy with making it look like meat, it definitely looked like meat so it was sleep quite impressive. My meal was delicious and will definitely be cooking with it again, I absolutely love it.
Easiest way to use jackfruit in savoury dishes. Soft and tender right out of the can. Made a Padang-style Gulai Nangka, jackfruit curry and it was so good. Very lemak! ❤️ #abillionturns3
