Vege-BBQ Panini

My boyfriend says that the panini needs more spice but I think the taste is just right. Next time I'd add some melting vegan cheese and then it would taste much better. 👌

Vuosia sitte ku ryhdyin vegaaniks, tällänen täytepatonki oli itseasias viimesiä ei-vegaanisia ruokia mitä vapaaehtosesti söin, sattu vaan olla jo ostettuna silloin. Silloin niil tais olla vaan se yks vegetaarinen mozzarellalla, mut nykyään on myös tää vegaaninen! Jollei kakskin, en oo ihan varma. Sika hyvää, varsinki jos vertaa johki Subin tylsiin halpiskasvispihvillisiin (tosin en oo siel monee vuoteen käyny et ehkä neki jo päivittäny valikoiman tähän päivään) //Years ago when i went vegan, this kinda baguette was one of the last non-vegan foods i willingly ate, just happened to have it already bought. Back then they only had one vegetarian option with the mozzarella cheese, but now they have this vegan one too! If not two, not completely sure. Soo good, especially compared to the boring Subway sandwiches with that cheap dull patty (although maybe they too have upgraded their menu to modern times since, haven’t been there in years) #avainlippu #kotimainen

This is a saviour for when you need a quick bite. It is one of my favourite sandwiches. . The panini bread is good and the bbq ‘delikaura’ oat-pea protein bits tastes meaty and really good too. It can be eaten as it is but I usually add some vegan cheese, some salad, tomatoes and vegan smoked chili mayo.

Had to grab a picture off the internet because I forgot to take one! This was so good. I didn’t have a panini press to make it in so I just bunged it in the oven. Came out super crispy on top but really nice inside. Would definitely buy again!

Tasty panini with little filling other than the BBQ plant protein.
