Our vegan take on the “classic brownie” has a sweet, rich chocolaty taste and satisfying chewy texture, all without eggs or butter. Pairs perfectly with your favorite hot beverage or cold drink like oat milk or iced coffee….but really, everything works well with our delicious vegan fudge brownie! From the makers of brownies for Ben & Jerry's since 1987 (and their non-dairy versions 😉)!

Greyston Bakery was founded in 1982 by a Zen Buddhist monk, Bernie Glassman. Through an Open Hiring™ Model, Greyston provides a job and resources to individuals with barriers to employment, no questions asked. We create opportunities for people who have been formerly incarcerated, those with minimal education or no past job experiences and to those who do not speak English. Becasue of our mission, we became the OG maker of brownies for Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream over 37 years ago and continue as the pioneer of inclusive Open Hiring®. We offer through national retail outlets and our website a decadent variety of rich fudgy kosher individually wrapped CPG brownies and blondies, including the three (3) amazing vegan plant based brownie and blondie options made without eggs or dairy that are Kof-K Kosher (Dairy Equipment) and seen here on abillion. All our flavors are made with clean-label ingredients, fairtrade sugar and cocoa, ingredients that are not bioegineered, ethically sourced and no preservatives or artificial stuff.

This was one of the treats in my birthday giftbag from an American friend, so I'm not sure of the price. I would guess they got it at the Vegan Grocery Store in NY though. This was more moist than I was expecting from a packaged brownie, and the density was pretty near brownie perfection (dense, fudgey, not cakey.) It was sweet but not too much. Probably would be delicious warmed with some ice cream and Hershey's chocolate sauce... 🤤 I want to look more into the company, because the package says they employ people who have been having trouble finding jobs and I don't know if that's exaggerated to sell the product or if they're actually a really great company.
