I did a quick marinade of this tempeh in Nando’s garlic hot sauce. The tempeh

itself didn’t taste of much. So it was essentially just a sauce carrier. It crisps up nicely in the oven, though I wish I had cooked it longer. I still prefer tofu when it comes to this type of flavor carrier.

I never used to eat much tempeh but after having it lots in Indonesia I

totally fell in love. Sadly it’s a good bit more expensive over here than it is there but this pack did the trick. I fried three slices til golden brown and had them in a bagel with spinach, tomatoes, vegan Mayo and sriracha. It was 10/10 and fermented food is really good for you! Tempeh on its own is probably an acquired taste but I’ve grown to love it
